The Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine deems that non-grounded populist suggested by the Party of Regions and the blocking method implementation for today is critically evaluated not only by the experts but by the Ukrainian society as well.
M. Tomenko has pointed out the attention on the recent public opinion poll that was held by the Ukrainian democratic Circle Organization" according to which the total majority of Ukrainians (12,6%) deem that the Bill suggested by the Party of Regions is and populist step before the elections. 18% of the population consider the Bill as such that was created with care for people.
Interesting that only half (50%) of those who was going to vote for V. Yanukovych deem that the bill is formed to face the needs of the people, 35% of those who was going to vote for him consider the bill as populist step before the elections.
Also 77,9% deem that the blocking of the Verkhovna Rada by Party of Regions makes any use neither for the country nor for the citizens, of opposite opinion are only 9,3% of people.
"Consequently, if party of Regions does not care for the position of political opponents they should rather listen to the demands of Ukrainian society", - M. Tomenko is convinced.
